Aloe ferox

Nature's best kept secret... Aloe is world renowned for its soothing, calming and healing properties. Produced in South Africa by means of whole leaf extraction process, fresh aloe leaves are pulped and pressed to obtain a golden liquid containing a mixture of both gel juice and bitter sap. After fine filtration, a self-sterilizing organic solvent is used to remove the bitter sap and then to precipitate out the gel juice solids. This Aloe extract used in eyeSlices® contains only unique aloe gel nutrients. Aloe Ferox leaves are harvested from plants growing in their natural environment where they are climatically suited and therefore healthy. The plants do not require treatment with pesticides, fungicides or fertilizers.

Biodynes TRF

Biodynes TRFTM is a stressed/live yeast cell lysate (LYCD). LYCD was first used in an over the counter hemorrhoid product under the Preparation H® (Whitehall Labs) brand name. The stressed yeast lysate in the eyeSlices® product has proven efficacy as a soothing agent. Biodynes TRFTM is a cosmetic grade of LYCD which provides smoothing, soothing, and moisturizing properties of the eyeSlices®

Peptamide 6

Peptamide 6TM is a firming hexapeptide ideal for anti-ageing products and is used in eyeSlices® . It helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and brighten the complexion. Arch Personal Care has been manufacturing and selling unique yeast fermentation lysates for many years.

REGU-Age

Manufactured in Switzerland, REGU-AgeTM active complex in eyeSlices® consists of specially purified soy and rice peptides, and biotechnologically produced yeast protein.

Pentavitin

PentavitinTM is a patented, highly effective moisturizer containing naturally occurring carbohydrates. Its composition is very similar to that of the natural carbohydrate fraction found in the stratum corneum of the human skin. PentavitinTM is a highly concentrated aqueous solution manufactured according to GMP standards. It is the outcome of a carefully designed process of isomerization of plant derivative D-glucose. Due to its natural structure and composition, PentavitinTM acts as a highly effective moisture regulator resulting in long lasting water retention in skin and used in eyeSlices® . PentavitinTM imparts its moisture-attracting properties by binding to free amino groups of lysine in the keratin of the stratum corneum. This special type of binding leads to a unique substantivity and affinity to skin. Once bound to the skin surface Pentavitin cannot be washed off easily. The main feature of PentavitinTM is its highly effective moisture -regulating capability. PentavitinTM is thus effective for protecting dry skin against classical symptoms such as brittleness, dryness and unevenness.
